Foundations, framing, load-bearing walls, beams, posts, shear walls, and roof framing.
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations, plus drywall, tile, flooring, trim, cabinetry installation, and paint application.
Golden Shore Design and Build: Limited Workmanship Warranty
GSDB warrants the workmanship on all structural work it performs for ten (10) years. Structural work includes foundations, framing, load-bearing walls, beams, posts, shear walls, and roof framing.
GSDB warrants the workmanship on all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations and all finish work for five (5) years. Finish work includes drywall, tile, flooring, trim, cabinetry installation, and paint application.
This warranty covers the quality of GSDB's labor and installation only. It does not cover materials, fixtures, appliances, equipment, or devices.
A malfunction of any device, fixture, appliance, or product is covered only by its manufacturer's warranty. GSDB does not warrant hidden hardware failures, internal device defects, or factory defects. GSDB will give the owner any manufacturer warranty documents it receives.
The owner must report any issue in writing to info@gsdb.us as soon as it is discovered, and no later than thirty (30) days after discovery. If an issue is not reported within this period, the warranty for that issue is void.
Damage caused by a delay between discovering an issue and reporting it to GSDB is not covered by this warranty. This applies even when the issue is reported within the 30-day period.
The owner must allow GSDB to inspect and repair the issue before anyone else works on it. Repairs made by others without GSDB's written approval void the warranty for that item. In an emergency, the owner may take immediate steps to prevent further damage.
Each warranty period begins on the date of substantial completion. The warranty is valid only after the contract has been paid in full.
This warranty does not cover:
At GSDB's option, GSDB will repair or replace defective workmanship within a reasonable time.
This warranty is non-transferable unless GSDB agrees in writing.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights the owner has under California law.
